  1. The Beatles Story /The Cavern Club

    From humble beginnings to world-wide stardom, see how four young lads from Liverpool became the world’s first boyband. Then take a trip over to 10 Matthew Street to see The Cavern Club, otherwise known as the birthplace of The Beatles. 

  2. Lennon and McCartney’s Former Homes
    The Grade II listed building Mendips and 20 Forthlin Road, once home to John Lennon, allows you to see where the Beatles met, composed and rehearsed many of their earliest songs including where Lennon and McCartney composed 'I Saw Her Standing There'. A must for Beatles fans.

  3. Liverpool Cathedral
    Completed in 1978, Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral, is the largest in the UK and the fifth largest in the world. Their Christmas Carol Concerts on Christmas Eve are not to be missed!

  4. Albert Dock
    Spend hours wandering round the amazing array of boutiques, museums, galleries, bars and restaurants that Albert Dock has to offer. First opened in 1846 the Albert Dock houses the largest group of Grade I listed buildings in Britain.

  5. Museums
    Situated in William Brown Street. Liverpool Museum is one of Britain's finest museums, with extensive collections and special attractions including the award-winning hands-on Natural History Centre and the Planetarium. Also check out the Walker Art Gallery and Merseyside Maritime Museum on the Albert Dock.

  6. Crosby Beach
    Crosby Beach is now the permanent home to ‘Another Place’, the must-see sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Antony Gormley - 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea. The beach has been awarded the Quality Coast Award by Keep Britain Tidy. The QCA award tells visitors that the standards of beach management are of the highest quality in the UK.

  7. Speke Hall 
    Speke Hall is a rare Tudor mansion with Victorian interiors and original William Morris wallpaper, situated just outside Liverpool city centre near to Liverpool Airport.

  8. Liverpool One
    The main shopping destination in Liverpool you’ll find every shop on the highstreet in this popular shopping district. Whilst you’re there be sure to check out Chevasse Park situated within five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Referred to as the jewel in the crown of Liverpool ONE and regularly playing host to fabulous seasonal events.

  9. Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
    The Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the UK’s most forward-looking music organisations and home to the world class Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. As well as catering to more classical music tastes they also run the Grade II listed Liverpool Philharmonic Hall where they promote a wide range of contemporary rock, pop, folk, roots, jazz and blues concerts and music projects. Built in the 1930s, the 1,790 seat Art Deco Concert Hall regularly transforms itself into a cinema. One to keep an eye on!

  10. Cricket
    It was ‘that carrier bag’ from Cricket that Coleen Rooney was carrying when she shot to fame as Wayne Rooney’s then girlfriend but this designer boutique continues to be one of the biggest shopping destinations outside London for serious fashionistas.

  11. Ferry Cross The Mersey
    The world famous 'Ferry 'cross the Mersey', thanks to Gerry and The Pacemakers, is one of the finest Liverpool attractions for all the family.

  12. The Echo Arena
    Opened in 2008 as part of the European Capital of Culture, the Echo Arena is Liverpool's premier entertainment venue. Home to some of the best concerts in the UK and centrally located on the King’s Dock.

The Ultimate Christmas Fair is only a few hundred metres from the Echo Arena with its line-up of international music superstars. The Beatles Museum, the Wheel and Tate Liverpool are just a couple of hundred metres further along the banks of the Mersey. The nearby Playhouse Theatre offers an eclectic programme of shows, while the Empire hosts large musical spectaculars. Then there is the range of live music venues, cinemas and night clubs…plenty to ensure a memorable weekend.
